Fishing System
Fish with a mechanical rod, improve your Fishing skill and unlock a private room for special loot and optional boss catches.
Overview
What It Is
Use a mechanical fishing rod on water to catch physical fish for your inventory. Fish can be traded or eaten for their individual effects. A private fishing room adds special item catches and optional boss encounters.
How It Works
Use your mechanical fishing rod on a suitable water tile at level 120 or above, with at least 100 free capacity. Each successful ordinary fish catch adds one Fishing skill try. Special items, boss catches and failed catches do not train the skill. Higher skill improves your possible catches, but each cast also uses a random roll.
Key Rules
- The rod forces a 30-minute rest after 200 casts outside your room, or 400 casts inside an unlocked room.
- Fish are physical items and can be traded. Listed skills show when catches become possible; they do not guarantee a catch.
- Boss catches are off by default. Enable Player Settings → Character → Fishing Bosses while inside your fishing room.
- Fishing rooms are unlocked with a fishing parchment at level 120+, and
!fishingteleports you to yours from a protection zone.
How To Use It
Carry a fishing parchment in your backpack and use it at level 120+ to unlock your private room. Enter with !fishing from a protection zone. At Fishing Skill 50+, casting inside the unlocked room can also produce special loot. Turn on Fishing Bosses only when you are ready to fight.
Getting Started
Carry and use a fishing parchment at level 120+. It unlocks one private room per character and is consumed on success.
Rooms are private. Access yours with !fishing in any Protection Zone.
Default is 200 actions. Fishing Room Bonus gives +200 actions for 400 total.

Special Loot (Skill 50+)
At Fishing Skill 50+, each cast in your unlocked room has a 1% special-item roll. One reward is selected from the items below; their chances are not equal. Pet Coins, Silver Tokens and Gold Nuggets are not in this fishing reward pool.
Crystal Coins (1-5)
Fishing Mount Doll (1)
Cluster of Solace (1)
Dream Matter (1)
A fishing mount doll unlocks one unowned mount from Tempest, Magic Carpet or Venompaw and grants 2 talent points. If you already own all three, the doll is not consumed.
Common Fish & Food Effects
The catch roll is Fishing skill ÷ 160 + a random value from 0 to 0.5. The highest matching catch is selected. Skill labels below show when a catch becomes possible, not a guaranteed drop. The special-fish cooldown is shared between Northern Pike, Shimmer Swimmer and Rainbow Trout, so their effects cannot be freely stacked.

Shared special-fish cooldown: 30 minutes.
Optional Fishing Bosses
Boss catches require Fishing Skill 50+, character level 300+ and an unlocked fishing room. They are disabled by default: inside your room, open Player Settings → Character → Fishing Bosses to enable them. You can change this setting only inside a fishing room with room access.
If no special item is caught, an eligible cast has a 1 in 200 boss roll. A successful summon starts a 1-hour boss cooldown. The possible bosses depend on your character level:
